Credit grants are credit Nodus gives you, as opposed to credit you buy. Each grant is a CreditGrant you can read but not change:

Terminal window
$ nodus get creditgrants
NAME SOURCE AMOUNT REMAINING EXPIRES
grt_01j9x... Starter $2.00 $2.00 2026-10-31
grt_01j9y... Promo $25.00 $25.00 2026-11-30

Grants are included in the available balance under Usage & billing → Balance. Use nodus get creditgrants to inspect individual grants and expiration dates.

Your first eligible org receives $2.00 immediately usable starter credit after email and card verification. Each card can activate one account, and each person can claim the starter offer once. A successful paid top-up or approval from support unlocks the remaining $28.00. Both portions expire 30 days after the original grant; unlocking the remainder does not extend that date.

Before a paid top-up or support approval, compute is limited to one CPU Job at a time on available capacity, at most 2 vCPU, 8 GiB memory and 10 GiB local disk. A session lasts at most one hour, including recovery. GPUs, multi-node work and new dedicated capacity require payment or review. Trials use ephemeral compute: uploaded sources, volume mounts, checkpoints, saved outputs, archived logs and direct storage downloads also require payment or review. When existing CPU capacity is unavailable, the Job waits rather than renting a new node.

Trial network allowances are limited to four attempts per UTC day, with up to 256 MiB per attempt. Further attempts run without outbound network access. Downloads, logs and other interactive streams share an additional 256 MiB daily allowance. Unused allowances are not returned when a Job stops.

Existing issued grants keep their original balances and expiration dates. Execution restrictions can apply to existing promotional accounts. If access is suspended, contact support for review; topping up does not remove a suspension.

Some plan grants pay only for Indra (nodus/indra) model calls; they show nodus/auto, Indra’s other name, as their scope and are never spent on anything else.

Charges draw from grants first, soonest expiry first, then from grants that never expire, and only then from purchased credit. You never have to pick which credit pays.

You get an email 7 days and 1 day before a grant expires. At its expiry the unspent remainder leaves your balance at once, even if a run is still using it; the run keeps going on its other credit. Grants are never refunded or turned into cash.

A grant also settles unpaid charges first, the same way a top-up does.
